Kristine Blazevica of Texas, representing Latvia, rallied with a 2:14.25 performance in the 800 meters to win the women's indoor pentathlon with 4,312 points at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic at Albuquerque Convention Center. Blazevica, who also triumphed in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.36 seconds, was in third place entering the 800. She surpassed the 4,305 points achieved last year in Albuquerque to finish fifth at the Division 1 Indoor Championships and is still looking to eclipse her personal-best 4,402 points from 2022 at Texas Tech.
