Jarrion Lawson, who captured the silver medal in the long jump at the IAAF World Outdoor Championships in August, made his indoor debut at the New Mexico Indoor Classic, winning with a fifth-round leap of 26-1.75 (7.97m). Lawson's effort is equal to the No. 9 performer in the world this year.
