Leah Phillips, a senior at LSU, placed second in the women's 60-meter hurdles final in 7.99 seconds, along with taking 10th in the 200 meters in 23.35 seconds at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic at Albuquerque Convention Center. Phillips eclipsed the 8-second barrier for the fourth time in her career, including the third race in Albuquerque, where she clocked a personal-best 7.95 last year in the NCAA Division 1 indoor final to finish fourth.
