Bradley Jelmert 1st Place Men's Pole Vault - New Mexico Indoor Collegiate Classic 2024

Bradley Jelmert, a junior at Arkansas State, won the men's pole vault competition with a second-attempt clearance at 18-2.50 (5.55m) at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic at Albuquerque Convention Center. Jelmert had three unsuccessful opportunities at a personal-best 18-10.25 (5.75m). He remains the No. 2 indoor pole vaulter in NCAA Division 1 this season at 18-9.25 (5.72m). Jelmert prevailed on fewer overall attempts against former Sam Houston State All-American Clayton Fritsch and Rice athlete Alexander Slinkman, who cleared 18-2.50 on their second and third tries, respectively.
