Leo Neugebauer, a senior at Texas representing Germany, won the men's heptathlon with a personal-best 6,219 points at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic at Albuquerque Convention Center. Neugebauer improved by five points from his third-place effort last year at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships in Albuquerque, remaining the No. 5 all-time collegiate indoor competitor. Neugebauer won the 60-meter dash, long jump, shot put and high jump on the first day of the meet to accumulate 3,643 points.
